Breast and cervical cancer screening rates among low-income, uninsured, and underinsured women are low (1, 2). Timely breast cancer screening with mammography and routine Papanicolaou (Pap) testing for cervical cancer have helped to reduce the incidence of these diseases as well as the mortality rate associated with them (3).
